Will I qualify for the first-time home buyer credit if I am on my parents' title?

My parents bought a house over 10 years ago. It was paid and clear by them. My name appears on the title but I did not contribute financially to the purchase or payment. Does this disqualify me from receiving a 1st time homebuyer tax credit if I bought my own home recently? Thanks.
